The Role

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress and Data Specialist for a full-time role combining two areas. You will take over ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of our website, working directly with our marketing team on a steady stream of build, integration, content, and performance work. Alongside this, you will support our finance team with hands-on data work – building financial data structures and driving initiatives to integrate and automate data flows between the systems we use.

What You Will Do

  • Ongoing Maintenance: Keep plugins and themes updated, clean up unused assets/plugins, and monitor site speed and uptime across 2 sites.
  • New Pages & Redesigns: Build and restyle landing pages, product pages, and section redesigns in Elementor (e.g. homepage, consulting/software pages, regional project pages).
  • Interactive Features: Build and maintain interactive maps (office locations, product maps), interactive images with clickable hotspots, and custom popups.
  • Forms & Lead Generation: Add/edit HubSpot form fields, set up UTM capture, wire form submissions into GA4, and improve spam filtering.
  • Analytics & SEO: Build GA4 explorations and reports, fix tracking gaps, resolve SemRush-flagged errors, manage CookieYes consent settings, and troubleshoot indexing issues.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Maintain the Team Tailor careers widget, HubSpot, and other embedded scripts as requirements change.
  • User Access & Membership: Manage the gated candidates/consultant catalogue, the gated ESOX map, custom user roles, and login access.
  • Content Edits: Blog post templates, testimonials, FAQs, comparison tables, contact/office pages, and general copy or layout tweaks requested by the marketing team.
  • Bug Fixes: Redirects, broken layouts on specific screen sizes, iframe/lazy-load conflicts, and widget/plugin issues.
  • Documentation & Enablement: Write short how-to guides so our internal team can make simple edits independently, reserving specialist time for the more technical work.
  • Financial Data Management: Support the finance team in owning the structure, accuracy, and consistency of financial data across systems, helping structure, clean, and maintain financial data.
  • Data Integration & Automation: Drive initiatives to integrate and automate data flows between the tools we use (ERP, BI/reporting tools, Excel), helping the finance team build data structures and automations. Together with the point above, this data work will take up to half of your engagement.

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with WordPress + Elementor on live production sites (portfolio or references required), including theme customization, plugin management, and maintaining multiple related sites/subdomains.
  • Core front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and enough PHP to troubleshoot theme/plugin code.
  • Practical experience with at least some of: HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, CookieYes, SemRush, Team Tailor (or equivalent tools in each category).
  • Web performance optimization skills: image compression/format conversion (WebP), caching plugins (e.g. PhastPress), script deferral, and improving Core Web Vitals / PageSpeed scores.
  • A data mindset paired with working knowledge of the relevant tools (ERP, BI/reporting tools, Excel) – since the data work will take up to half of your engagement, hands-on experience structuring, cleaning, and maintaining data is needed to an extent.
  • Solid proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic automation).
  • Able to work independently from a written ticket/request (we manage work in Trello) and turn around small requests quickly, while flagging bigger changes for approval.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to carefully review requirements and instructions before executing tasks.
  • Strong written English and reliable communication through messages or video calls.
