Full description

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to keep the Smith Center website updated, performing well, and continuously improving and to contribute to Smith Center work.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for:

1) Updating the Smith Center website with new content as provided and fixing any website issues;

2) Making continuous improvements in the website;

3) Supporting the lead researcher, including occasionally interviewing faculty;

4) Collaborating with two other student worker staff with Smith Center responsibilities, including picking up lunches;

5) Additional work as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications/Skills:

1) Strong skills in WordPress; training another student staff in WordPress.

2) Strong skills in web design principles;

3) Strong ability to collaborate with others as part of a team.

4) Strong sense of ownership over responsibilities.
