About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical RtR Financial Analyst to manage and oversee the General Ledger and reporting activities for our Legal and Extended Warranty processes. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is committed to delivering high-quality financial analysis and accounting processes.
In this role, you will report to the RTR Team Leader.
What you’ll do:
As an RtR Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to warranty reserves and provisions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Calculating, analyzing, and maintaining provisions for Legal Warranty and Extended Warranty programs.
- Performing General Ledger accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations for warranty-related accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing and posting journal entries, including complex month-end warranty accruals.
- Supporting period-end closing activities in line with corporate timelines.
- Monitoring warranty claims, analyzing cost trends, and adjusting reserves based on historical data and forecasting models.
- Maintaining high data quality standards and ensuring timely reporting.
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional alignment with sales, customer service, and legal departments.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement within the warranty accounting and reporting domain.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting or related
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably with exposure to financial analysis.
- Intermediate English and fluent Polish
- Solid accounting knowledge, including the ability to prepare financial statements and a strong understanding of provisions and accruals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with complex datasets and financial modeling
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of MS Office, strong Excel skills, SAP (preferred)
