Location: Warsaw, Poland

Language: English

Main purpose of the position:

The purpose of this position is to lead and govern a complex, large-scale global ERP upgrade, migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central and rolling it out across more than 20 countries. Within ISS, Navision is used exclusively to support Finance processes, and this Finance-only scope will be maintained under Business Central; the role does not extend to other business-critical systems outside Finance. The role is accountable for end-to-end delivery, robust programme governance, executive stakeholder alignment, and effective decision-making across the full project lifecycle.

Key expectations:

You will bring a proactive, structured, and delivery-focused approach to leading a highly complex global transformation. You will confidently navigate a cross-functional and multi-country environment, align diverse and demanding stakeholders at senior executive level, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams and regions. A key expectation is to establish and embed governance practices that ensure transparency, accountability, timely escalation, and clear decision-making. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, resilience, sound judgement, and a proven ability to lead business-critical ERP programmes through ambiguity, competing priorities, and organisational change.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the global ERP transformation, from mobilisation and planning through migration, deployment, transition, and closure.
  • Govern the migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central and coordinate rollout across more than 20 countries.
  • Establish and manage programme governance, including steering committees, reporting structures, decision protocols, quality controls, and escalation paths.
  • Own and control programme scope, roadmap, milestones, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery quality.
  • Engage, influence, and align senior executives, country leadership, Finance, Technology, Operations, and programme sponsors.
  • Coordinate global and regional teams, implementation partners, vendors, and cross-functional workstreams to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Oversee country readiness, business process alignment, data migration, testing, cutover, deployment, stabilisation, and transition to operations.
  • Balance global standardisation with justified local, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Provide clear executive reporting, evidence-based recommendations, and timely escalation of critical decisions and delivery risks.
  • Drive change management, business readiness, stakeholder communication, adoption, and benefits realisation across the programme.

Who you’ll work with:

  • Group and country Finance teams
  • Country and Group leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Programme sponsors, steering committees, and transformation leadership
  • Technology, Operations, Data, and other cross-functional project teams
  • External implementation partners, system integrators, and vendors

Key qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex, large-scale IT transformation projects or programmes.
  • Proven track record of delivering global ERP implementations, upgrades, or major platform transformations in multinational organisations.
  • Extensive, hands-on Project/Programme Management experience delivering a Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central upgrade, or a comparable Microsoft ERP-class transformation, is essential.
  • General working knowledge of Finance-led business processes, sufficient to engage credibly with Finance stakeholders and safeguard business-critical financial operations throughout the transformation.
  • Extensive experience establishing and operating project or programme governance, including executive steering forums.
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge, and align difficult stakeholders at senior executive level.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-country deployments, ideally across 20 or more countries.
  • Experience managing system integrators, external vendors, contracts, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong knowledge of risk, issue, dependency, quality, change, and benefits management.
  • Project or programme management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PgMP, is preferred.

Personal skills you excel in:

  • Exceptional executive communication, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership presence and confidence in challenging, high-pressure stakeholder environments.
  • Highly structured, organised, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Resilient, pragmatic, and comfortable leading through ambiguity, competing priorities, and organisational change.
  • Able to build trust and drive accountability across cultures, countries, functions, and time zones.
  • Collaborative and value-focused, with a strong commitment to delivery excellence and measurable business outcomes.
