Full description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial lighting and electrical projects from project award through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background managing complex commercial construction projects involving lighting systems, electrical distribution, or manufacturer representative environments. You will oversee schedules, budgets, client relationships, procurement, and project execution while coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities• Manage commercial lighting and electrical projects from award through closeout, maintaining full responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, electrical contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review project plans, specifications, lighting packages, and construction documents to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, equipment releases, and project documentation.
  • Track manufacturing, production, and delivery schedules while resolving supply chain or product issues.
  • Monitor project financials, forecasts, budgets, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks, develop solutions, and proactively resolve project challenges to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support product selection, value engineering initiatives, and technical coordination as project requirements evolve.
  • Provide regular project status updates, financial reporting, and milestone tracking to clients and leadership.
  • Manage multiple concurrent commercial projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and high service levels.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in commercial lighting, commercial electrical, electrical distribution, or commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction documents, electrical plans, specifications, and project coordination.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors, consulting engineers, architects, lighting designers, manufacturers, or manufacturer's representatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex commercial projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or ERP software.
  • Commercial construction experience is required. Residential-only experience will not be considered.
