CTG is seeking to fill an IT Infrastructure Business Analyst – Disaster Recovery position for our client.

Location: Dallas, TX (3 days per week in the office)

Duration: 6 months

Duties:

  • Support IT infrastructure and Disaster Recovery initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Partner with infrastructure, application, security, business continuity, and other technical teams to define Disaster Recovery requirements and objectives.
  • Document recovery requirements, including Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, process flows, requirements documentation, status reports, and project plans.
  • Track project activities, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues using JIRA, Microsoft Project, and related tools.
  • Create and maintain process diagrams, workflows, and technical documentation using Visio and Confluence.
  • Facilitate meetings and working sessions with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive project activities.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Assist with Disaster Recovery planning, testing, remediation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Support other IT infrastructure-related business analysis activities as needed.

Skills:

  • Strong Business Analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
  • Understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts, including recovery requirements, RTOs, and RPOs.
  • Strong experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex project documentation.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably supporting IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, Disaster Recovery, business continuity, or related IT initiatives preferred.
  • Experience documenting requirements, processes, workflows, risks, issues, and project dependencies.
  • Experience working in a project-based environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Occasional travel to other facilities may be required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
