About the role

The Senior Product Manager, Connections Platform leads complex product strategy and roadmap execution for a platform that serves as the foundation for multiple products across Zillow. This role partners closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders to define vision, prioritize work, and deliver scalable, data-informed solutions — including our core Leads service and Switchboard Agents, an agentic harnessing platform aimed at enabling agentic experiences across Zillow.

You Will Get To

  • Define and evolve product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Connections Platform, aligning with company strategic priorities and customer needs
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and requirements through launch, iteration, and optimization — using quantitative and qualitative insights to guide decisions
  • Partner with teams across Zillow to understand their needs and translate them into clear product requirements and technical trade-offs
  • Build prototypes, auditing and configuration portals, and more by leveraging AI tools such as Replit, Cursor, and Claude Code
  • Analyze leads data and leverage AI tools to identify opportunities to improve our platforms and ultimately improve the customer experience
  • Shape the future of agentic connections by building services that enable the next generation of lead nurturing, classification, and customer engagement
  • Mentor less experienced product managers or peers on product discovery, prioritization, and execution best practices

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $141,200.00 - $225,600.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including experience in a platform-focused role
  • Demonstrated experience defining product vision and strategy, managing roadmaps, and guiding features from discovery through launch in cross-functional environments
  • Ability to understand and define API contracts, database schemas, and best-in-class pipeline architectures
  • Proven ability to use data, AI tools, and experimentation to inform product decisions and drive measurable impact
  • Experience building scalable products that anticipate future needs and serve a wide range of internal clients and use cases
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to navigate and align diverse requirements across multiple teams
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Nice to have: experience with agentic platforms, data modeling, or lead management systems
