Program Financial Analyst

Job Description:

  • Develops and maintains program budgets and financial forecasts
  • Tracks and reports on program spending, comparing actuals to budget and identifying variances
  • Analyzes financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends for program leadership
  • Manages procurements, SOWs, accruals, invoicing, and financial reconciliation processes for the program

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience in a financial analyst, or similar finance roles
  • Experience working within a project-based or program management environment is strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and data analysis
  • Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and performing detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly around accruals, invoicing, and the month-end close and reconciliation process
