Senior Product Manager - Payment Disputes

Remote: Must reside in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NY, PA, SC, or TX

FINBOA is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and market success of our flagship Payment Disputes product portfolio.

In this role, you will translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive insights into solutions that strengthen FINBOA’s leadership in dispute management and financial operations automation. You will partner closely with Engineering, Client Experience, Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Product Marketing throughout the product lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and maintain the strategic roadmap for FINBOA’s Payment Disputes portfolio.
  • Translate customer, regulatory, and business needs into BRDs, FRDs, epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with Engineering.
  • Conduct customer, prospect, and internal stakeholder discovery to identify unmet needs and market opportunities.
  • Monitor developments affecting card disputes and chargebacks, including Regulation E and Regulation Z, and translate them into product requirements.
  • Define and track product adoption, utilization, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Lead customer advisory sessions, beta programs, and structured product-feedback initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on positioning, pricing input, messaging, and launch planning.
  • Work with Client Experience and Support to address recurring customer issues through product improvements.
  • Develop business cases for new products and major enhancements.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
  • Validate delivered functionality and support acceptance testing and release readiness.

What You’ll Bring

  • Eight or more years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, banking technology, payments, fraud, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success owning strategic product roadmaps and leading initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Strong experience developing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • The ability to influence both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
  • Experience with disputes, chargebacks, fraud, card operations, Regulation E, Regulation Z, or financial operations workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting banks, credit unions, community financial institutions, or fintech providers is preferred.
  • Experience with workflow automation or product commercialization is a plus.

You will deliver a clear, customer-informed roadmap that strengthens the Payment Disputes portfolio and produces measurable business results. Product adoption, feature utilization, retention, and customer satisfaction will improve, while well-defined requirements help reduce engineering rework and support timely delivery.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time, exempt

• Work Location: Remote within a FINBOA-approved state

• Approved States: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas

• Schedule: Typical business hours, Monday through Friday

• Travel: Occasional travel may be required

• Job Grade: 117

• Salary Range: $119,767–$155,697 annually

• Incentive Eligibility: Eligible for quarterly bonus
