About the Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will serve as the technical backbone of our quality assurance strategy within high-performing delivery PODs. You will design, architect, and optimize robust automated testing frameworks across UI and API layers, ensuring high code quality and rapid delivery cycles for enterprise-grade applications.

This role is critical to modernizing our testing ecosystem, expanding continuous integration pipelines, and embedding high-grade automation standards into everyday software development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to eliminate bottlenecks, maintain framework scalability, and safeguard system reliability under load.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, end-to-end test automation frameworks covering UI, API, performance, and regression testing scenarios.

• Build advanced automated test suites using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress to ensure maximum application test coverage.

• Implement robust API automation workflows using RestAssured, Postman, and Swagger to validate event-driven architecture and microservices.

• Integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions for continuous execution and early bug detection.

• Optimize framework architecture and execution speed while conducting load and performance testing with JMeter.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to debug complex failures, monitor AWS environment logs, and drive root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance with a heavy focus on end-to-end automation.

• Tech Stack Mastery: Deep experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, Postman, and JMeter.

• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD and AWS services (S3, Lambda, event logs).

• Agile & Methodology: Expertise in test case design, defect tracking tools (Jira, Rally), and core QA methodologies within Agile environments.

• Soft Skills: High level of ownership, proactive approach to identifying test gaps, strong problem-solving skills, and self-drive.

• Language: Advanced English (B2/C1+ written and verbal communication).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized test execution environments.

• Knowledge of mock services and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience with contract testing tools like Pact.
