Your Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed within budget, on time, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including implementation, product, finance, and customers, to ensure project goals are met.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with the sales organization on the handover of contracted projects.
- Create project plans to successfully execute contractual agreements that outline project scope, budget, and schedule to achieve success.
- Communicate project plans to the internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute change control and manage escalations as they arise.
- Provide project reporting to internal and external stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status, progress, and issues.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
- Monitor project progress and adjust project plans as needed.
- Participate in project review meetings.
- Develop strong customer relationships by providing high-quality customer service and communication.
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a project manager in the software delivery or technology sector.
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) and articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in both languages.
- Working knowledge of hospitality products; preferably POS, PMS, payments, or other similar hospitality technology products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Thorough knowledge and experience in project management tracking and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology, products, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications/Nice to Have:
- PMP certified
