Full description

The System Administrator will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize system/server performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability by analyzing logs and tuning resources.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability issues, perform repairs on faulty hardware, and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
  • Develop, document, and comply with systems administration standard operating procedures, manuals, and architecture diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT equipment, licenses, and hardware.
  • Administrator user accounts, manage network rights, security permissions, and access to systems and equipment.
  • Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy, perform regular backups, and implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Participate in audits, examinations, and risk remediation efforts

The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4–5 years of system administration experience in financial services, credit union, or regulated environment
  • System administrator certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA or equivalent) preferred
  • Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP or equivalent) preferred
