Full description

The Project Manager II (PM) will manage prototype projects and collaborate with the Government Agreements Officer’s Representative (AOR), Government technical experts, and our Performers to support post-award execution goals and objectives. Their talents, perspectives, and efforts will directly contribute to project success and facilitate positive mission outcomes. The dedicated PM shall formulate and enforce work standards such as project life cycle, use existing process flows, and comply with documentation standards. The right PM will work closely with our Performer and Government clients to keep all parties informed of prototype status, identify any potential problems, and troubleshoot any project issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Leads planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. Ensuring they meet performance, schedule, and budget requirements.

  • Act as a primary liaison between Government and Industry partners, ensuring effective communication.
  • Identify and manage risks, track financial performance, and provide updates to key stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and success.
  • Prepare briefings and compile monthly projects reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement best practices and process enhancements.
  • Lead technical and contractual meetings as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Program Manager.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Expected for Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role
  • 1+ years of experience working with Government or the Department of Defense (DoD) including delivering briefs or presentations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • PMP/Scrum/Lean Six-Sigma or other related certifications
  • Experience working with Other Transaction Authorities
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies

 

Required Qualifications:

Eligibility to hold a security clearance, preferred Secret security clearance (with eligibility for Top Secret)

 

Travel

Travel for this position is estimated up to 10%
