About the Opportunity

The Asset Team is responsible for delivering transparent and reliable asset management experiences across crypto fund movements, portfolio visibility, transaction history and tax reporting. This role will establish a scalable product framework that supports tax reports and statements for users across different jurisdictions, based on applicable regulatory requirements and customer jurisdiction, address and tax-residency information.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define the long-term vision, strategy and roadmap for customer tax reporting, client statements and transaction history.

• Establish a scalable global tax reporting platform and expansion framework, enabling new markets and reporting requirements to be supported efficiently.

• Partner with Tax, Legal and Compliance teams to assess regulatory developments, determine product impact and prioritize regional initiatives based on regulatory risk, customer needs and business strategy.

• Own the development of the Tax Center, including tax documents, reporting status, transaction。

• Lead integrations and product strategy for tax and reporting providers such as TaxBit and Sovos.

• Depending on the candidate’s experience, contribute to portfolio management and asset analytics products, including asset dashboards, portfolio performance, asset allocation and P&L experiences.

What We Look For In You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, fintech, business).

• Prior working experience in well-known Internet/cryptocurrency companies such as Futu, Tiger, Coinbase, etc. preferably in brokerage, tax technology

• Ability to translate tax, regulatory and financial requirements into scalable product capabilities, workflows and data requirements.

• Experience with digital asset tax reporting, cost basis, gains and losses calculations, tax forms or e-invoicing.

• Rigorous, detail-oriented, and composed under pressure. High sense of ownership and accountability.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English as it can be used as a working language, Mandarin speaking will be mandatory.
