Job Summary
- The Management Reporting/MIS focus encompasses the preparation and analysis of management reports, providing critical insights into business performance and supporting strategic planning. An example could be creating dashboards and performance metrics for senior management review.
- Intermediate professionals who deliver consistent, quality outcomes within a defined scope of work, applying developing expertise and judgment under established guidelines. As individual contributors, they handle routine to moderately complex tasks, contribute to team outputs, and build effective working relationships to support delivery objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage MIS and management reporting activities for assigned reporting areas, including report production, dashboard maintenance, data validation and management information delivery.
- Analyse reporting requirements, data quality issues, recurring report exceptions and stakeholder feedback to identify improvement opportunities for senior review.
- Prepare MIS reports, performance dashboards, recurring management reports and ad-hoc reporting outputs to support business performance monitoring and strategic planning.
- Coordinate with internal users including Finance, Channel, Operations, IT, as well as regional users and business stakeholders to clarify reporting specifications, resolve data issues and support timely report delivery.
- Maintain reporting tools, templates, data repositories, SOPs and operating procedures to support consistency, accuracy and reporting control.
- Improve reporting templates, data validation routines, process documentation and automation support within assigned MIS reporting scope.
- Provide standard professional advice on reporting requirements, data interpretation, report usage and MIS process standards.
Problem Solving & Interaction
- Identify and solve MIS reporting, data quality, system and reporting process issues within established reporting frameworks and procedures.
- Analyse reporting requirements, data discrepancies, recurring report issues and operational reporting needs to support recommendations for senior review.
- Handle non-standard reporting or data issues escalated from other team members, including report inaccuracies, system-related issues and documentation gaps.
- Build productive working relationships with internal users, regional users and business stakeholders to support reporting accuracy and issue resolution.
- Provide standard professional advice on MIS reporting outputs, data interpretation, report templates and process documentation requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in MIS reporting, management reporting, business analytics, data operations or related financial services roles.
- Experience managing MIS report production, dashboard maintenance, data validation, stakeholder reporting requests, reporting tools and process documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, reporting, and automation. Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, interpret, and synthesize complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus Qualifications: experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or other reporting and analytics tools.
