Zyeta is an integrated workspace design-and-build company delivering innovative commercial office interiors across India. We are looking for a technically strong and execution-focused Assistant Project Manager – MEP to support the successful delivery of large-scale workplace interior projects.

Role Overview

The Assistant Project Manager – MEP will be responsible for managing end-to-end MEP execution under the guidance of the Project Manager. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end execution of MEP works for commercial office interior fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate MEP design, execution, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs for execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, PMCs, and internal design teams.
  • Assist in client meetings and provide regular project progress updates.
  • Manage MEP vendors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Monitor site progress, resource planning, material availability, and vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and Zyeta quality requirements.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, cost control, and documentation.
  • Identify technical issues, coordinate resolutions, and escalate critical risks when required.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, snag closure, and final project handover.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in commercial office interiors, Design & Build, or interior fit-out projects.
  • Experience supporting or managing commercial office fit-out projects of 50,000–1,00,000 sq. ft.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Building Services.
  • Good understanding of MEP coordination, site execution, and project management.
  • Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and site teams.
  • Good client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
