Royal IHC is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager within the Technology & Innovation department. In this role, you take ownership of the development and implementation of innovative products and technologies. Working from the vision, budget and functional requirements provided by the Product Owner, you are responsible for successfully delivering projects together with multidisciplinary teams.
The products and initiatives you manage often span multiple Product Market Groups and Business Units. This requires a strong project leader who can maintain oversight, connect stakeholders, drive alignment across the organisation and ensure successful project execution from concept through implementation.
You will act as the central coordinator and technical project leader, ensuring that innovation projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with business objectives.

Your responsibilities
- Lead technical product development and innovation projects from concept through implementation.
- Translate business requirements and functional specifications into structured project plans and execution strategies.
- Manage project scope, budget, planning, risks, resources and deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineering, technology and business stakeholders.
- Identify synergies and dependencies across product initiatives, market groups and business units.
- Build alignment between technical, commercial and operational stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project proposals, progress updates and decision papers to the Project Board and senior management.
- Drive effective governance and ensure projects meet quality, performance and compliance requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage issues, risks and change requests.
- Take full ownership of project outcomes and ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- At least three years of relevant experience in product development, engineering projects or technology development
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills
- Structured, pragmatic and results-oriented
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Experience within maritime, offshore, defence, aerospace, automotive or other complex engineering environments is advantageous.
