The purpose of the role is to effectively lead technical and data projects to drive TAPFIN Business Intelligence forward to best support our customers and delivery partners. They will coordinate the communication, prioritization, and development of scalable work products and enterprise-wide enhancements to support BI Business Insights team, Client Delivery and Engagement Leadership and Program Teams. The BI Product Development Lead is also responsible for working as part of a team to identify new product development opportunities; identify and fix technical problems within existing products; partner with other departments to develop, test and deploy products; and mentor new team members on Power BI, Tableau, IntelliReach, and TAPFIN Data Warehouse standards.
Making an Impact Partner with BI Insights team and Client Delivery to identify, develop and deploy business reporting and analytic support to align with organizational initiatives. This position is responsible for the delivery of BI solutions utilizing Tableau, IntelliReach, Custom Analytics and other tools as deemed necessary. Proactively investigate opportunities to promote cross brand / solution work products and increase the value of the BI solutions. Create scalable and creative solutions that highlight organizational value both internally, externally, at an individual program level and an aggregate organizational level. Sharing Expertise Apply knowledge of Business Intelligence methodologies in supporting our internal and external customers. Apply advanced product development knowledge to build scalable but flexible Tableau solutions (or equivalent application) and own the full life cycle of the project. Utilize BI Product Developers to support project completion based on bandwidth and technical expertise. Seek out collaboration with BI Insights team, Client Delivery, and customers to understand business challenges and fulfill business requirements. Encourages the use of external resources to bring new ideas to the organization for consideration across Talent Solutions. Share and collaborate with colleagues around the globe to enhance global BI delivery.
Gaining Exposure High business acumen and excellent communication skills are required to build relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization from Vice Presidents to Program Managers. Collaborate with the BI Insights Team and BI Leadership to develop new products, existing product enhancement, and prioritize business requirements that provide value to the organization. Change management and resource balancing skills are essential as the business drives the product development teams priorities. Share experiences and expertise with colleagues in Business Intelligence around the globe.
Your Typical Day
- Understands the business issues and data challenges of our client’s and the staffing industry and translates into solutions that change outcomes.
- Establish a regular meeting cadence with BI Insights Managers across TAPFIN to review overarching regional and individual program performance support needs and establish strategic initiative priorities.
- Ensure Product Development team is building individual program solutions as well as scalable organizational solutions for comparative and market trending results.
- Identification of possible Business Intelligence as a Service (consulting) opportunities and support custom build content.
- Partner with BI Insights Managers to review voice of the customer and prioritize internal development priorities.
- Attain Tableau Certification and encourage other Product Development team members to attain certification as well.
- Provide input into selection, hiring and training of staff personnel. Share input into performance evaluation, recruitment, and retention. Accountable for setting project support expectations of junior team members, as well as train, motivate and encourage professional growth. Provide coaching to junior team members on prioritization of workload and account management.

- Lead and be responsible for UAT for software updates and enhancements – IR & Tableau
- This is a remote role with <10%25 travel required.

Tenure: 5+ years of related experience Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience with talent solutions BI tools including Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence platforms.
Work
Experience: Team Leadership experience preferred Technical: Industry Certification in key Talent Solution BI tools, Tableau, or equivalent.
