Full description

As a System Analyst within the Manufacturing Operations IT organization, you will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that enable manufacturing excellence across Emerson's global operations.

You will partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand business challenges, define solution requirements, and drive successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead requirements gathering, workshops, and process analysis activities with global business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Partner with software engineers, architects, and vendors throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support implementation of manufacturing digitalization initiatives, including MES, shop floor systems, warehouse solutions, quality processes, and manufacturing applications.
  • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate business processes.
  • Provide production support and root-cause analysis for critical business applications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business partners by balancing operational needs with long-term technology strategy.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Project Lead, or similar role.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience managing project activities and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, quality, or engineering business processes.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, Oracle applications, manufacturing systems, or factory automation solutions.
  • Experience leading global projects across multiple regions.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with process mapping, business analysis frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment.
