Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java, Selenium BDD Automation, API Testing, and Test Framework Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure quality across web and API applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements to define test strategies and automation scope.

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, and Core Java.

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.

• Perform API automation using Karate and/or Rest Assured.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Integrate automation suites with source control and CI/CD processes.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java with Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)

• Functional Requirement Gathering: 6+ years

• Selenium with BDD Automation: 6+ years

• Cucumber: 4+ years

• Core Java: 6+ years

• API Automation (Karate / Rest Assured): 4+ years

• Git: 1+ year

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Automation Framework Development

• Jenkins, Maven/Gradle

• Postman

• Database Testing

• CI/CD Integration

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
