  • Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects such as treatment facilities, pump and lift stations, storage facilities, distribution and collection systems, conveyance pipelines, utility planning, modeling, and rehabilitation improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted client partner and primary point of contact, helping public agency and utility clients navigate technical, regulatory, budget, schedule, and stakeholder considerations.

  • Provide technical leadership and QA/QC review for plans, specifications, opinions of probable cost, reports, permits, and construction-phase engineering support.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, designers, and emerging project managers while creating a collaborative, accountable, and growth-minded team environment.
  • Support business development through client relationship building, proposal strategy, interviews, presentations, networking, and identification of new and repeat work.
  • Help clients pursue state, federal, and other funding opportunities that make critical infrastructure improvements possible.

What We’re Looking For:

  • S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in California

  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, client communication, and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Strong technical background in project delivery from conceptual planning through detailed design, permitting, bidding, and construction support.
  • Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work, budgets, cost estimates, technical reports, plans, specifications, and client presentations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, subconsultants, internal teams, and community stakeholders.
  • A leadership style that balances technical confidence with collaboration, mentorship, accountability, and a genuine interest in helping others grow.

  • Work alongside experienced leaders in a culture that values growth, mentorship, and giving employees the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of a well-established local practice. Flexible schedule that supports both client service and work-life balance.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and HSA options.
  • Generous PTO to recharge and maintain balance.
