We're looking for a Project Manager to join our vibrant team in Aarhus or Copenhagen. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working alongside some of the brightest minds globally. As a Project Manager, you'll partner with senior leaders to drive complex, end-to-end projects across strategy, creative, tech, and performance. You excel at building lasting client relationships, balancing innovative business development, profitability, and creative excellence.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead diverse, fast-moving global and local programs, including innovation, strategy, creative, complex technology, and performance marketing.
  • Define clear project scopes that set a strong foundation for success.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, covering objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Forecast and plan resource needs across teams, assisting with proactive allocation.
  • Guide teams to meet project goals, translating business needs into actionable tasks.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, refining acceptance criteria and aligning delivery with business objectives and quality assure the delivery.
  • Ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality products that exceed client expectations.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication and alignment across stakeholders — from senior management to clients and external partners — and help shape how projects are set up for success from the outset
  • Drive for excellence in end-user experience and business relevance.

  • Practical experience or a strong interest in applying AI tools within project management as well as Curiosity and adaptability to help leverage AI's potential in creating innovative solutions for clients, keeping AKQA at the forefront of this evolving landscape
  • You're the calm, structured point of contact that clients and internal teams trust to keep things on track — strong stakeholder management comes naturally to you
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to internal teams and external clients.
  • You are comfortable working autonomously and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • You inspire and mentor project teams with an energetic and positive mindset.
  • You genuinely care about your colleagues and help foster a supportive, collaborative environment — you're a team player who contributes positively to our culture.
  • Excellent communication in English is essential; Danish is a valuable plus.

Your Background:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within a digital agency, consultancy, or fast-paced in-house digital team
  • A track record working on complex digital products, services, or strategic initiatives, with a structured, full-circle understanding of how projects come together end to end
