Role Overview:
The Supply Chain Project Manager leads supply chain-related projects that enhance operational efficiencies, optimise inventory, and improve overall service delivery. This role ensures that project objectives align with supply chain goals and that stakeholder expectations are met through effective coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supply chain improvement projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and IT teams to develop project plans.
- Monitor project risks related to supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Communicate project progress and challenges to senior management. • Implement supply chain innovations and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant supply chain policies, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Project Management preferred.
- Experience managing supply chain or logistics projects in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and software tools.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.
