Full description

Associate Business Analysts are responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of SC&H Group. The Associate strives to understand business needs and define technology and service requirements to maximize delivery of business value. The Associate translates business needs into requirements that SC&H Staff and Managers can use to design and develop solutions; they will also assist with compiling project status and executive updates. At SC&H consulting, the goal is for Associates to move into a Staff position within two years at the company and become a Senior Business Analyst within five years.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements sessions with Business and Technology Partners.
  • Create Business Process Maps to document current and future state processes.
  • Create and maintain strong relationship with Business Partners and project team members.
  • Work closely with Manager to manage any required changes in project scope.
  • Effectively communicate requirements with Technology team.
  • Provide periodic updates to executives regarding project/program status.
  • Learn and understand Oracle Cloud Solutions and Technologies

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to gather and document business requirements, follow standard practices for requirements gathering, and committed to ensure that systems delivered are of high quality and meet all customer requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analysis, facilitation and elicitation skills.
  • Proficient/Expert using Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Planner), SharePoint, Google Drive applications
  • Ability to work either independently or closely with others as the needs of the project dictates. Must maintain a customer service and quality focus at all times.
  • Must be a fast learner with a strong desire and motivation to learn the unique aspects of the tools & functions of the Product & Resort Sales business partners.
  • Must be highly adaptable to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to apply business analysis techniques, such as information-gathering methods, requirements documentation, process modeling, and process mapping.
  • Good understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle and delivery approaches, e.g. agile, scrum.

Required Location

The ideal candidate will live in the Philadelphia, PA or Columbia, MD area, or be willing to relocate there for no less than one (1) year after the start date, however, candidates with some work experience can be remote, however some travel to PHL, Columbia, and client sites is to be expected.

Required Education

Four-year degree in fields such as Accounting, Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics

Salary & Benefits

The expected annual base salary for this position is $72,000-$82,000. Salary offers are made based on a variety of candidate specific factors such as candidate's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations.
