Delivery Manager Grade: 11/12 Salary range: $154,231-178,369 + superannuation and leave loading Duration: permanent full-time role, ongoing Location: Hybrid with an in-office requirement on 2 days a week in Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford or Bathurst. This may be subject to change in line with DCS workplace policies
Lead the delivery of strategic technology initiatives that support critical communications and digital transformation across NSW Telco Authority.
Drive Agile delivery, delivery governance and continuous improvement practices while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex technology and transformation outcomes aligned with business priorities.
About the team
This role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team in NSW Telco Authority.
The team is responsible for shaping NSW Telco Authority's technology direction through architecture governance, solution design, technology roadmaps and strategic advisory services. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the team delivers secure, resilient and scalable solutions that support critical communications and digital transformation initiatives across NSW. Your responsibilities will include
- Leading Agile delivery activities and ceremonies across complex technology initiatives
- Managing delivery roadmaps, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery outcomes
- Establishing and maintaining delivery governance, reporting and performance metrics
- Managing vendor and delivery partner relationships to support successful project outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and enhance delivery maturity across teams
- Collaborating with business, project and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Mentoring and developing team capability, fostering a high-performing and delivery-focused culture

- Essential Security Clearance: You will be able to obtain and retain minimum Baseline Security clearance within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, ICT or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience leading complex digital, technology or transformation initiatives
- Strong Agile delivery and project management experience
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing competing priorities
- Knowledge of technology delivery, cyber security, privacy, vendor management and governance practices
Desirable
- Experience delivering enterprise architecture, technology modernisation or digital transformation programs
- Experience working in telecommunications, critical infrastructure or government environments
- Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2 or project management certifications
