Position Overview
As an Intern Product Manager for Product Access, you'll get hands-on exposure to the licensing services that power every Autodesk product from desktop software to cloud APIs and AI-driven workflows. You'll work alongside a team of experienced product managers and cross-functional partners to learn how world-class products are discovered, built, and shipped. This internship is designed to give you a real-world foundation in product management within a high-impact, fast-moving platform team.
Product Access is at the heart of Autodesk's business model evolution, enabling new capabilities like API and MCP monetization and granular AI feature access. As an intern, you'll contribute meaningfully to this mission by supporting product research, contributing to requirements, participating in team rituals, and developing your PM skills in an environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Responsibilities
- Explore and experiment with emerging PM practices shaped by AI, including AI-assisted user research synthesis, automated metric monitoring, and prompt-driven competitive analysis and bring your findings back to the team
- Monitor existing product metrics and learn how to explain their impact on team objectives
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and team members to contribute to the delivery of features that meet customer requirements; contribute to Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
- Understand product positioning and key Product Access features, and support internal communications by articulating product value and customer workflows to stakeholders
- Participate in customer research activities led by the team to develop understanding of user personas, pain points, and potential solutions within Product Access
- Support senior PMs in communicating product updates to stakeholders with clear and timely written and verbal communication
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Design or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to clearly convey information to teammates and stakeholders
- Internship duration: 11 January - 25 June 2027, 6 months full-time (fixed dates)
Preferred Qualifications
- Curiosity about and familiarity with AI tools and an eagerness to explore how they can make product teams more effective
- Analytical mindset with an interest in learning how to synthesize information from multiple sources to inform product decisions
- Collaborative team player who is comfortable working across functions with engineers, designers, and business partners
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward seeking guidance and confirmation before making adjustments.
- Interest in platform products, developer tooling, licensing, or enterprise SaaS is a plus
