Senior Electrical Project Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex electrical projects valued at $30 million or greater, overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle including estimating, planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from initial planning and design through completion and turnover to the client.
- Lead project teams including project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee contract administration, change order management, procurement, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor project financial performance, including cost controls, billing, cash flow, and profitability.
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide executive-level reporting on project status.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Support business development efforts and participate in project pursuits as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior project management staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing electrical construction projects from start to finish with a total project value of $30 million or greater.
- Experience managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, mission-critical, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, scheduling, estimating, and contract management.
- Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience with Design-Build and Design-Assist project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of BIM/VDC processes and construction technology platforms.

Critical Requirement
Candidates must have verifiable experience leading electrical construction projects from inception through completion with individual project values of at least $30 million. Experience limited to participation on large projects without full project management responsibility will not satisfy this requirement.
