We're looking for a Engineering Manager - Integration to lead our Integration squad and shape the future of how internal teams, partners and third parties connect with Netwealth's data. You'll join our newly elevated Data & AI function, helping create an API-first ecosystem that is secure, scalable and designed for self-service.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead a talented team of engineers while remaining close to the technology that powers our API Gateway and integration platforms. Together, you'll:
- Shape the roadmap and technical direction of our API and integration capabilities.
- Build secure, performant and observable APIs that help teams and partners move faster.
- Create a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coach and grow engineers through feedback, mentoring and meaningful career development.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and external integration partners.
- Balance delivery today with the platform capabilities we'll need tomorrow.

About you
You might be an Engineering Manager, Integration Manager, API Platform Leader or a senior technical leader ready to take on broader people leadership responsibilities.
You'll bring:
- Expertise leading engineering teams in a modern software environment. You'll help make Netwealth's API ecosystem easier to adopt, faster to extend and trusted by the teams and partners who rely on it every day
- Expertise to create the conditions for a high-performing team where people have the authority to own outcomes end-to-end, quality is everyone's responsibility, and innovation is built on strong foundations.
- Deep knowledge of API design, API Gateways and integration patterns including REST, event-driven architectures and webhooks.
- Strong architecture and technical decision-making capability.
- An appreciation of security, governance and operating in regulated environments.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including how AI can help teams work smarter and scale effectively.
