Drive growth in the Payments business by designing and commercializing tailored, end-to-end payment solutions for high-profile clients—translating complex needs into scalable implementations across modern rails (ACH, wire, RTP, and card-based disbursements).
As a Payments Solutioning Specialist within Payments, Treasury Services/ Payment Rails, you will define and configure complex payment solutions for high-profile clients. Partnering with Sales, Banking, Product, and Commercialization teams, you will advance opportunities, identify growth areas, and translate client needs into solutions that shape the future of the Payments business.
Job responsibilities
- Lead solution design and adoption for existing and emerging client-facing payment products, configuring solutions that address client needs and business objectives
- Partner with Sales, Banking, and other lines of business on RFPs, client opportunities, pricing, pipeline planning, and account planning
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline, advancing opportunities from discovery through close while identifying cross-sell opportunities that deepen client relationships
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on Payments products, client needs, and industry trends, building trust with clients and internal partners
- Collaborate with Product, Commercialization, and Go-to-Market teams to assess market fit, position solutions, execute commercialization strategy, and activate new product launches
- Capture client pain points and market feedback, translating insights into solution enhancements and strategic product-roadmap priorities
- Enable Sales through product training, collateral, and clear solution positioning that supports effective client engagement
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in payments solutioning, sales, product commercialization, or a related field
- Subject-matter expertise in payments, including ACH, wire, Real-Time Payments, disbursements to debit cards, Zelle, PayPal and Venmo, prepaid cards, and Pay by Bank
- Proven success navigating complex sales cycles, managing opportunities from discovery through close, and delivering measurable growth outcomes
- Ability to translate client needs into implementable solutions and product requirements, influencing roadmaps without direct engineering ownership
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients and senior internal stakeholders and to influence across a highly matrixed organization
- Strategic, hands-on approach to identifying client pain points, resolving tradeoffs, and driving solutions through ambiguity to implementation
