Full description

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing, this position is responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces across digital platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience for SIGA’s customers. This role will support the rebranding efforts, develop designs for SIGA Apps, and assist in website and content management activities. Additionally, the UI/UX Designer plays a key role in ensuring that SIGA’s digital presence is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, aligning with the marketing objectives and enhancing customer interactions.

Responsibilities

Designing user interfaces and experiences for digital platforms. Performing content management activities for SIGA’s Gaming websites, ensuring continuity of digital operations by troubleshooting web design issues and implementing minor updates as needed. Leading research initiatives, including user interviews and usability testing, to gather insights into user behaviour and preferences. Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that design solutions align with project goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. Developing and maintaining design systems and guidelines. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA’s priorities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in UI/UX design, digital product design, or user-centered design methodologies. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch. General knowledge of WordPress, React, JS and JQuery is considered an asset. Experience in both web and mobile application design, along with familiarity with marketing environments is considered an asset. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (i.e. HTML, CSS, JavaScript), user research methodologies, and agile frameworks (SCRUM) is considered an asset. Successful completion of a two-year diploma in Interactive Design, Technology, Graphic Communication, Media Production, UI/UX Design, Computer Science or a related field.
