Full description

Vera Bradley is looking for a Graphic Designer to help deliver culturally relevant, performance-driven work across Brand, Outlet, Wholesale, and the end-to-end customer journey. The role calls for strong technical and storytelling skills, translating culturally resonant trends into creative that drives engagement, customer acquisition, and measurable business impact. Vera Bradley has always been about making the practical feel personal and joyful. That idea has shaped four decades of signature patterns, and it is still the heart of the brand. We are building a design team to carry that legacy forward, and the Graphic Designer will help set the tone for how that work shows up day to day. The team sits within Marketing and reports to our Creative Content Director. You will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, brand marketing, social, digital, merchandising, and copy, along with colleagues across the wider marketing organization. This is a role for a designer who can bridge a heritage brand with a modern, contemporary lens while still resonating with a multigenerational customer. You will help carry the brand's patterns and archive into new work, and support the systems and templates the team designs with. Your scope spans digital, print, email, and social, from seasonal campaigns and product launches to day-to-day content.

What You'll Do

·       Design assets across digital, print, email, social, and retail marketing, from seasonal campaigns and product launches to day-to-day content

·       Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer and Creative Content Director to translate campaign concepts into compelling executions across channels

·       Act as the team's social creative specialist, supporting the social team with social-first work that feels native to each platform while keeping a consistent brand voice

·       Build and adapt layouts for email, web, print, and marketing materials using established design systems and templates

·       Support the evolution and maintenance of design systems, templates, and shared creative resources in Figma

·       Edit short-form video and motion content for social and marketing channels

·       Help prepare creative for photo and video shoots, including mood boards, selects, asset organization, and production support

·       Use AI tools to explore concepts, generate variations, and accelerate workflows while adhering to team guidelines and brand standards

·       Prepare production-ready files and ensure creative assets meet technical and quality requirements across platforms

·       Present work in team reviews, participate in creative critiques, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to strengthen the final output

·       Keep a close watch on emerging design, cultural, and technology trends, and bring concrete ideas and references to the team

·       Understand and communicate how your work translates into business impact: engagement, acquisition, and results marketing leadership can see

Experience We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone with 2 to 4 years of professional design experience, in-house or at an agency, ideally with time in beauty, fashion, apparel, retail, lifestyle, or promotional marketing. Your portfolio should show range across digital and print, including social work that was clearly made for the platform it ran on. You're fluent in Figma and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. You can cut video in Premiere or CapCut, and you've used AI design tools on real projects.

About You

·       You have strong typography and layout fundamentals, and an eye for the details that elevate good design into great design.

·       You keep a close watch on fashion, design, culture, and emerging creative trends, and you're eager to bring fresh references and ideas to the team.

·       You can balance speed and quality, staying organized even when multiple projects are moving at once.

·       You welcome feedback, iterate quickly, and understand that great creative work is collaborative.

·       You use AI tools thoughtfully as part of your process and have a perspective on where they add value and where they don't.

·       You already work in motion and content creation, and you're eager to keep building new ways of telling stories across channels.

·       You're drawn to pattern, print, and craftsmanship, and are excited by the opportunity to work with a brand archive that spans more than four decades.

·       You have promotional design experience, such as offers, in-store signage, outlet, and seasonal sale campaigns

Nice to Have

·       Experience designing for a heritage or lifestyle brand

·       Experience in beauty, fashion, or apparel

·       Some motion graphics work, or time on set at photo and video shoots
