The project:

Be a part of our international consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where we oversee work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors.

Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Direct and manage the delivery of all MEP works throughout construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual, programme, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor delivery progress and proactively manage risks, constraints, and critical path activities.
  • Drive programme recovery and mitigation strategies where required.
  • Coordinate with construction, commercial, project controls, design, and stakeholder teams to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Review contractor schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans.
  • Manage site-based delivery activities and ensure effective coordination across multiple work fronts.
  • Chair progress meetings, technical workshops, and package review meetings.
  • Ensure testing, commissioning, and handover activities are planned and executed in accordance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, opportunities, and change control processes.
  • Support commercial teams with the review of claims, variations and contractual matters.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with relevant codes, standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Promote the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performance.

You’ll need to have:

  • Degree qualified in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, building services engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive years of experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable experience managing large-scale MEP packages through the construction and delivery phases.
  • Experience managing main contractors, specialist subcontractors, and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Experience within a PMC, client-side, delivery partner, or programme management environment is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Professional accreditation such as PMP, MCIOB, CEng, PE, or equivalent is desirable.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
