ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Purpose (1–3 lines): The role will manage end-to-end delivery of assigned projects or workstreams, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations are effectively coordinated. Supports delivery governance, facilitates cross-functional execution, and enables timely outcomes aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects or project workstreams across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, ensuring alignment with defined business objectives.
- Define and track project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and success measures in partnership with project sponsors and delivery teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action trackers, RAID logs, dependencies, and status materials to support effective delivery oversight.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, product, architecture, QA, operations, and business teams to drive execution and remove delivery blockers.
- Support project governance through status reporting, meeting facilitation, performance tracking, documentation, and timely escalation of key decisions.
- Identify, monitor, and help mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up, ownership, and escalation where required.
- Maintain regular stakeholder communication, manage expectations, capture decisions, and support alignment across project sponsors, delivery teams, and client representatives.
- Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies, quality expectations, compliance requirements, documentation standards, and audit readiness practices.
- Assist with change management, release coordination, implementation planning, and transition activities to support business continuity.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, improving project documentation, and sharing delivery best practices with team members.
