Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, supply chain, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Additionally, the Brand Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Develop and manage all product development strategies, key market programs and pricing mechanisms to drive business growth.
- Facilitate in development of business metrics and manage budget to conceptualize business strategies.
- Ensure OEM Business Planning & Performance Management, translate and implement BIA strategy towards the OEM
- Defines Pricing Strategy, prices negotiation (list price, special prices for big deals IKA/RKA etc.., payment terms, financing, etc.)
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEM partners to develop various products through collaborative approach, understand their way of working to be more efficient and create mutual trust.
- Perform business analysis and participate in review meetings to identify business requirements for growth.
- Schedule products market entry and provide support to marketing groups by providing training, pricing strategies and sale techniques to sustain product sales.
- Analyze product development requirement through market research, analyze competitor products and interact with customers, sales and engineering team.
- Ensure the availability of equipment’s based on the budget and forecast => Manage / challenge stock requests in ASO stock.
- Reporting to and with OEM on Market analysis, commercial activity, wholesales, MS% targets and evolution (monthly & quarterly)
- Coordination of training provided by OEM.
- Provide all the tools required and general support & help with sales eqmt to reach TO & GM.
- Transfer of correct sales and purchase information to ESB, encoding.
- Development and implementation sales tools (Offer templates, Instant Price, Best sellers’ models…), processes and policies.
- Follow Rental activity, fleet in different countries, share with OEM to ensure their support.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Development or any relevant field.
- Tools : Excel, MS Office, SAP (good to have)
- Experience in the earthmoving equipment industry, whether with an OEM, dealer, or end-user.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in the equipment rental business would be an asset.
- Hands-on field experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others.
- Comfortable delivering training on product features and machine applications to local sales teams.
- Able to adapt training content and delivery methods to suit different audiences.
- Proactive, customer-oriented, and eager to contribute to business growth.
- Willing to travel approximately 15% to 20% of the time.
