Position Summary

The Tableau Developer designs, develops, enhances, and maintains business intelligence dashboards, visualizations, and reporting products supporting lender-monitoring operations, risk analytics, and executive reporting requirements. The developer converts business requirements into intuitive analytical products while ensuring performance, accessibility, and data accuracy.

 

This position is hybrid and reports to the Program Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions.
  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports supporting risk management and portfolio oversight.
  • Develop calculated fields, parameters, KPIs, and reusable datasets.
  • Implement dashboard enhancements and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to validate reporting requirements.
  • Develop interactive visualizations supporting peer comparisons, trend analysis, risk concentrations, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Conduct testing and validation of dashboard calculations, filters, and business logic.
  • Support dashboard publication, migration, and deployment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  • 4 years of applicable experience

Technical Skills

  • Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.
  • SQL development and query optimization.
  • Data visualization and dashboard design.
  • AWS-based reporting environments.
  • Data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • ETL and data transformation processes.
  • Experience integrating APIs and relational databases.
  • Amazon S3 and AWS Glue.
  • Business intelligence and reporting platforms.
  • Section 508 and accessibility-aware dashboard development.

Preferred Experience

  • SBA lender data, lending programs, credit-risk models, and program analytics.
  • Financial services, lending, banking, or risk management reporting environments.
