Function & Responsibilities
- Support the planning, documentation, and delivery of medical-device projects, taking ownership of assigned project activities and workstreams.
- Coordinate cross-functional project activities and help ensure that scope, timelines, deliverables, responsibilities, and quality expectations are clearly defined and understood.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, action logs, risk and dependency registers, and supporting documentation in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, resources, and dependencies, following up on agreed actions to help keep projects on track.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints, support mitigation planning, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Provide clear and regular project status updates that cover progress, upcoming milestones, risks, decisions, and areas requiring attention.
- Work closely with R&D teams, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality medical-device solutions in accordance with applicable quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements.
- Take a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to facilitating project meetings, removing obstacles, and ensuring that decisions and actions are documented and followed through.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and ways of working across R&D Operations.
- Progressively take responsibility for larger and more complex projects as your product knowledge, organizational understanding, and project management experience develop.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field, and 1–3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a comparable role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain oversight across multiple projects, workstreams, and priorities.
- A structured and analytical approach to solving problems and improving processes.
- Clear, respectful, and confident communication skills, both written and verbal (English).
- A collaborative and open-minded approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and organizational levels.
- Confidence to follow up on commitments, challenge constructively, and promote accountability while remaining supportive and solution-oriented.
- Experience in medical-device development or another regulated industry is an advantage.
