Job Summary:

The Electrical Support Engineer will be responsible for the on-site study, design, and application of electronic and electromechanical projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Point of contact for any electronic and electromechanical device issue company wide.
  • Compose user manuals and training documents relating to electronics and electromechanical products.
  • Create, modify, and update programming to be loaded into electronic circuit boards.
  • Assist with product assembly, product repairs and technical support.
  • Respond and troubleshoot customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work with technical support and assembly personnel.
  • Organize and manage electronic files for the department.
  • Assist Engineer Technician in managing of BOM’s.
  • Manufacturing test support and development.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of circuit design and operation.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to properly manage time and projects.
  • Strong technical support and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of safe work practices and OSHA
  • Comfort working in a fast paced and ever-changing business environment.

Requirements:

  • 2-year associates degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical prints.
  • Aptitude to troubleshoot existing processes and systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to perform regular bending, twisting, and lifting to shelve.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull at times
