Full description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Wealth AI and Digital, WPS.

In this role you will:

  • Support and act as the product owner for the Applied AI and Wealth product roadmap, translating emerging platform capabilities into prioritised, scalable production outcomes for Wealth and Premier Solutions in Hong Kong.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle across discovery, business case, prioritisation, design, delivery, launch, adoption and continuous improvement, with clear accountabilities, decision rights and delivery milestones.
  • Shape and maintain an integrated roadmap spanning Applied AI, conversational wealth journeys, and other emerging capabilities, balancing client value, revenue and AUM growth, RM productivity, feasibility, risk and strategic alignment.
  • Convert business opportunities and frontline pain points into clearly defined product propositions, use cases, requirements and target operating models, supported by customer, RM, market and performance insights.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery across Wealth product, distribution, technology, data & analytics, operations, legal, compliance, risk and control partners, resolving dependencies and accelerating the path from experimentation to production scale.
  • Embed privacy, data governance, model risk management, suitability and conduct requirements, human oversight, explainability, record retention and operational resilience into product design from inception, ensuring appropriate approvals and evidence are secured throughout delivery.
  • Establish disciplined governance for pilots and proofs of concept, including entry and exit criteria, prioritisation principles, success measures, funding cases and production-readiness assessments, to reduce fragmented experimentation and improve time-to-scale.
  • Define and own outcome-based KPIs and benefits-realisation plans covering revenue, AUM, conversion, client engagement, RM capacity released, cycle-time reduction, adoption, quality and risk indicators; track performance and intervene where outcomes are off plan.
  • Drive launch readiness, change management and adoption with frontline and product teams, including communications, training, feedback loops and management information that demonstrate realised value and support continuous optimisation.
  • Provide concise, decision-oriented updates to senior stakeholders, surfacing trade-offs, delivery risks, control considerations, commercial performance and recommendations for roadmap or investment decisions.
  • Monitor external innovation, regulatory developments and competitor activity relevant to AI and digital wealth, translating implications into actionable roadmap opportunities while protecting client trust and the organisation’s risk appetite.

To be successful you will need:

  • Substantial product management, proposition, transformation or digital delivery experience within wealth management, and investments or a closely related regulated financial-services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience taking complex digital, data or AI-enabled products from discovery or pilot through production launch, adoption and measurable benefits realisation.
  • Strong understanding of Applied AI concepts and delivery considerations, including generative AI, conversational experiences, data dependencies, human-in-the-loop controls, model performance, explainability and ongoing monitoring; direct coding expertise is not required.
  • Sound knowledge of wealth customer journeys, frontline advisory processes and product economics, with the ability to identify opportunities that improve client outcomes, revenue or AUM growth and RM productivity.
  • Working knowledge of relevant risk and control disciplines, including privacy, data governance, model risk, suitability and conduct, record retention, third-party risk and operational resilience, with a track record of engaging control partners early.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, including business-case development, value sizing, prioritisation, KPI design and interpretation of customer, operational and financial performance data.
  • Excellent execution discipline, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, define clear outcomes, manage multiple dependencies and make pragmatic trade-offs across value, risk, cost and speed.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across business, technology, data, operations and control functions, including constructive challenge and effective communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Client-centric and frontline-oriented mindset, with strong judgement, curiosity and the confidence to test assumptions through evidence and user feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical, commercial and risk topics into clear decisions, roadmaps and executive-level narratives.
  • Experience with tokenisation, digital assets, conversational banking or wealth platforms is advantageous, as is familiarity with Hong Kong’s regulatory environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, finance, technology, data or a related discipline; relevant product, agile, AI, risk or wealth-management qualifications are advantageous.
