This early-career role is designed for engineers who are interested in technical sales, applications engineering, and technical marketing. Through structured development programs, hands-on customer engagement, and mentorship from experienced professionals, you will build technical expertise, commercial acumen, and communication skills while helping customers solve complex engineering challenges.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Spend your first six months in an intensive learning environment, developing expertise in NI solutions, technologies, and sales processes while supporting customers with technical challenges.
- Partner with Account Managers to support customer opportunities, product demonstrations, training sessions, and solution configuration activities.
- Balance inbound sales opportunities, marketing-generated leads, customer presentations, demonstrations, and prospecting efforts to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Develop expertise in test and measurement technologies to support long-term career growth.
- Qualify customer requirements and collaborate with Account Managers to progress business opportunities.
- Share knowledge, provide peer support, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units to deliver customer success.
- Travel to customer locations to facilitate training, technical workshops, product demonstrations, and educational sessions.
- Collaborate with channel partners and distributors to expand customer engagement and business growth.
- Support territory planning by identifying priorities, aligning resources, and executing strategies that contribute to business objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to strengthen technical and commercial knowledge.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A degree or equivalent educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A strong interest in building a long-term career in technical sales, technical marketing, or applications engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of electronics, computing systems, and programming languages such as C, Python, LabVIEW, or similar technologies.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Milan (Italy), Paris (France), Munich (Germany), or Reading (United Kingdom) for a minimum of two years as part of the development program.
- Openness to future mobility opportunities across Europe aligned with career interests and business needs.
- Willingness to travel as required to support customer and business activities.
- Professional proficiency in English and Italian, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Authorization to work in the applicable location, where required.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28400 - 52700 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. For roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the applicable salary range and pay structure are set by that agreement, including how pay levels and progression are defined (Non Dirigenti).
