Electrical Superintendent / Project Manager

About the Role:

The Electrical Superintendent / Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical aspects of construction projects from inception to completion within the United States. This role ensures that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery. They will lead and mentor electrical teams, manage resources effectively, and resolve any technical or logistical challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in driving project success and maintaining strong client relationships through effective leadership and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction management or project supervision.
• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Procore.
• Familiarity with renewable energy electrical systems or industrial electrical installations.
• Advanced leadership training or certifications in safety management.
• Experience working on federal or large commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and supervise all electrical construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and financial targets.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and other construction managers to align electrical work with overall project goals.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate electrical crews and subcontractors to maintain high performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and documentation to stakeholders and senior management.
• Resolve technical issues and conflicts promptly to minimize project delays.
• Facilitate communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project.
