QA Engineer (Junior)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the QA team to ensure appropriate test coverage throughout all phases of development.

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and other documents based on product requirements.

• Prepare basic test tools, and test data.

• Identify, report, and verify defects using tools such as Jira.

• Communicate progress, blockers, and risks related to assigned tasks.

• Collaborate with relevant team members to clarify issues and support timely resolution.

• Proactively manage workload and consistently meet deadlines.

• Follow established QA and defect management processes.

• Work with the QA Lead to continuously refine and improve QA processes through lessons learned.

• Follow team arrangements and guidance from the team lead.

• Ready to provide backup or assist with advanced tasks when required.

• Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of QA experience in game, mobile, or web product testing, including grey-box, black-box, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.

• Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.

• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira.

• Basic knowledge of API testing.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Detail-oriented, methodical, proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong willingness to learn, continuously improve, and grow within the QA discipline.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with less support as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Open-minded, respectful, and always ready to support one another

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISTQB principles or certification.

Additional Notes: You may be expected to complete a test as part of the interviewing procedure.
