This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Sr. Associate I, Field Service Operations (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for supporting sales and marketing teams by doing installations, case management, maintenance, inventory and returns of demo and education equipment. You will lead advanced projects, apply innovative solutions, and make critical decisions to enhance project performance and innovation.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges, support key initiatives, and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide operational support for service installations, case management, preventative maintenance activities, inventory management, and returns processing.
  • Lead complex assignments and special projects, developing innovative solutions and making critical decisions that drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure efficient execution of daily operations through strong attention to detail, effective communication, organization, and task management.
  • Utilize analytical thinking, sound judgment, and self-direction to identify opportunities for improving processes, operational performance, and customer support outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate and complete documentation, supporting quality requirements, and completing all required training.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to regulatory compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement while meeting individual and organizational performance objectives.
  • Provide onsite and offsite technical and clinical support at Alcon Surgical sponsored wet lab and trade show events.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Travel – 50%

What You’ll Bring to Alcon:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 years of Relevant Experience
