Location: Hybrid (MA), Hybrid (Cleveland, OH) or Remote (US)
Department: Product & Growth
Reports To: VP of Technology
About OpinionRoute
At OpinionRoute, we are redefining how Market Research Agencies (MRAs) handle survey operations, sampling, and data quality. We bridge expert-led managed services with proprietary tech innovation—including our research operating system and our market-leading Data Quality & Fraud Prevention suite.
We are built for researchers, not investors. Our mission is to take the chaos out of market research operations through modern automation, AI-assisted quality control, and frictionless workflows.
The Role
We are seeking a strategic and execution-minded Go-To-Market (GTM) Product Manager to sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Operations.
In this role, you will lead the commercialization and adoption strategy for OpinionRoute’s core software platforms and data quality tools. While the product team builds the technology—you will own how our technology reaches the market, resonates with Market Research Agencies, drives recurring platform adoption, and translates complex technical capabilities (AI fraud detection, sample integrations, workflow automation) into clear commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Launch & Commercialization Strategy
- Lead end-to-end Go-To-Market launches for new feature rollouts, platform modules (The Navigator), and data quality tools (CleanID, ResponseID, QC Flow).
- Define market positioning, value propositions, and messaging tailored to market research executives, survey programmers, and research operations leads.
- Establish launch KPIs and track adoption metrics, user retention, and feature usage post-release.
2. Cross-Functional Alignment & Sales Enablement
- Serve as the primary connective tissue between Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Client Success.
- Equip sales and client ops teams with high-impact enablement tools: demo flows, battle cards, pitch decks, ROI calculators, and feature release guides.
- Turn complex technical differentiators (e.g., pre-field vs. post-field fraud mitigation, AI open-end auditing) into crisp sales narratives.
3. Customer & Market Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing customer interviews and feedback loops with MRAs to validate product-market fit and identify expansion opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor tech shifts, and evolving data quality threats (such as synthetic responses, botnets, and AI panel fraud).
- Translate user friction points and commercial feedback into clear feature requests and business cases for the Core Product & Engineering roadmap.
4. Product Adoption & Growth
- Partner with Product Analytics to monitor user onboarding pathways, identify activation bottlenecks, and run experiments to increase platform stickiness.
- Design and execute self-service or guided onboarding strategies for client self-serve platforms and API integrations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in Product Marketing, GTM Product Management, or Commercial Product Management—preferably within SaaS, Data Quality/Fraud Detection, or Market Research Tech (MRX).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the market research ecosystem (survey programming, sampling operations, MRAs, panel management) is a strong plus.
- Storytelling & Messaging: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex technical capabilities into compelling value stories.
- Data-Driven: Proficiency with product analytics tools (Pendo, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar) and comfortable using usage data to drive decision-making.
- Technical Aptitude: Understanding of REST APIs, workflow integrations (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics, Jibunu), and AI/ML concept applications.
- Execution Focus: Proven track record of orchestrating cross-functional teams to launch software products on time and achieve measurable business metrics.
Why Join Us?
- High Impact: Directly shape the growth trajectory of a fast-moving innovator solving one of the research industry's largest problems: data integrity and operational waste.
- Autonomy & Ownership: High visibility role working alongside leadership with direct ownership over product launch strategies.
- Culture: Collaborative, pragmatic, human-first culture built by researchers, for researchers.
