We are seeking a highly motivated Staff QA Engineer to own the end-to-end quality of our Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) product line. In this role, you will build robust automated test scenarios, integrate intelligent self-healing test automation, and leverage AI/ML capabilities to transform our test workflows and ensure product resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on complex network topology and security requirements.
- Lead the design and continuous integration of automated scripts, ensuring seamless transition to the regression testing team.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable, modular Python test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Design and execute high-throughput Scale and Performance test suites for non-functional validation.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML tools and LLM workflows for automated test-case generation and predictive defect analysis.
- Apply AI capabilities to automatically detect and repair flaky test scripts, reducing maintenance overhead.
- Leverage generative AI models to accelerate root-cause analysis (RCA) across system logs and core dumps.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in architecting and building scalable Python-based test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Extensive experience in designing and executing high-throughput scale and performance test suites.
- Strong understanding of complex network topologies and security business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous integration of automated scripts and regression handovers.
- Practical experience applying AI/LLM tools (e.g., Cursor, custom OpenAI/Claude integrations, or AI-powered test platforms) to streamline testing.
- Experience utilizing generative AI models for accelerated root-cause analysis across system logs and core dumps.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with self-healing test automation techniques and predictive defect analysis.
