Job Description

Role Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning and delivery of technology initiatives that support Brookfield’s business operations and strategic priorities. This role manages the full project lifecycle—from initiation through delivery—ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager works closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and leadership to coordinate delivery activities, manage risks, and maintain strong governance and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects including infrastructure, application, security, and enterprise system initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and deliverables in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Manage project execution and track performance against established plans, identifying and addressing deviations proactively.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate governance structures, including project steering committees and status reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in accordance with established governance and financial controls.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including technology engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and support the intended business outcomes.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder communication and provide clear reporting on project status, risks, and progress.
  • Support vendor engagement activities including scope definition, commercial review, and delivery oversight.
  • Ensure alignment with technology governance, security policies, and compliance requirements throughout project execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management standards, processes, and governance practices within the PMO.

Key Deliverables

  • Successful delivery of technology projects within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Comprehensive project documentation including project charters, work plans, status reports, and closure documentation.
  • Accurate and timely reporting of project progress, financial status, risks, and issues.
  • Well-managed project governance including stakeholder engagement and decision frameworks.
  • Effective management of project risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Delivery of technology capabilities that support business initiatives, operational improvements, or regulatory requirements.
  • Strong collaboration and alignment between technology teams and business stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • 5–7+ years of experience managing technology or IT projects in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience delivering complex application, infrastructure, buildouts, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience working in financial services, asset management, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Experience managing project budgets, vendors, and project governance structures.
  • Experience working within structured project delivery frameworks or PMO environments.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project management capabilities across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex delivery environments.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain alignment across multiple business and technology stakeholders.
  • Understanding enterprise technology environments including applications, infrastructure, and security considerations.
  • Familiarity with technology governance, compliance, and operational risk frameworks.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project planning tools).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, or enterprise application implementations.
  • Experience delivering technology initiatives supporting mergers and acquisitions or business integrations.
  • Experience working with enterprise financial systems or platforms used within financial services environments.
  • Experience with Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methodologies.
  • Vendor management experience and exposure to large-scale enterprise technology programs.

Salary: $120K - $130K

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
