Your Opportunity
An opportunity exists in Stantec's Water Sector for a highly motivated Civil or Environmental Engineering Project Manager with water and wastewater conveyance and treatment design, as well as construction experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of design professionals and technicians and/or construction quality assurance staff providing construction quality assurance observation and reporting services
- Management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Interact with clients and internal leadership regarding status of project scope, schedule, and budget
- Apply and share experience/knowledge of treatment, wastewater collection, and water system conveyance and facility design
- Lead and manage preparation of engineering reports and construction documents including design drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates
- Research and understand issues related to wastewater and water resources that impact individual projects
- Ensure that project’s requirements are met in a timely and effective manner
- Provide project oversight, coordination, and problem solving and coordinate with staff to provide Engineering Services During Construction for multiple projects under construction concurrently.
- Be an active member in a local civil, environmental, or water related public works professional organization to promote and represent the firm.
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
