The Role

Andersen Consulting is seeking an experienced product management professional to help grow our global digital consulting practice. This individual will have a proven record building diverse digital teams and working collaboratively with clients to transform their businesses through disruptive digital solutions. We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented product management leader who is adept at problem solving, can thrive in complex environments, and has deep and demonstrated experience delivering products to market to join our team of digital professionals.

As a product management leader, you will help our clients achieve and sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing digital strategies, products, and platforms to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and support the execution of complex transformations. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams including user experience experts, architects, and engineers to define and launch products and services for large global organizations. You will take a customer centric and data-driven approach to product development.

You are a strategic thinker, can prioritize and define product roadmaps, manage a product backlog, make quick decisions, and coordinate the team to release quality products within planned timelines. You understand modern platform structures, cloud architectures, digital platforms and enablers, and data strategy considerations.

In addition, you will play a key role shaping the growth and expansion strategy of the digital consulting business for Andersen Consulting. This includes practice development & recruiting, business development, and corporate development activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client engagements by leading delivery teams, monitoring progress, and demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and product management knowledge
  • Guiding teams throughout the product development lifecycle by facilitating discussions with technical, design and business subject-matter resources, documenting requirements, establishing a vision, and leading product delivery and launch efforts.
  • Effectively work with client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships and networks and cultivate business development opportunities.

The Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience in the consulting industry and a distinctive record of professional achievement and impact.
  • Senior Manager (or equivalent title) experience at a tier one consulting firm or equivalent-level position in industry.
  • Experienced product management leader with a proven record building and leading global, diverse, multidisciplinary digital teams.
  • Demonstrated experience setting product vision, defining & managing product roadmaps, prioritizing & managing backlogs, and leading product launches.
  • Domain experience across the financial service industry sectors (banking & capital markets, insurance, wealth & investment management, private equity) is preferred.
  • Experience with successfully managing projects with defined deliverables and budgets.
  • Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team; manage communications with the project sponsors and manage the delivery of an engagement workstream.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to travel based on the client need up to 50%
