Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a  Customer Support Engineer (f/m) to join our team based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team supporting all Airbus commercial customers on Electrical systems (electrical generation & distribution - ATA24) and exterior lights (ATA33-4x), from long term investigations to AOG (Aircraft On Ground).

Your challenges:

Supporting all Airbus commercial customers around the world, from urgent AOG (Aircraft On Ground) situations and corresponding Troubleshooting to long term in service fix management linked to ATA24 (electrical generation & distribution) and ATA33 (exterior lights):

  • Act as the in service engineer specialist on your ATA chapter
  • Daily answering ATA24/33-4x related engineering queries on all commercial Airbus programs (A300, A320fam, A330fam, A350, A380).
  • Manage AOG (Aircraft On Ground) situation and corresponding stand-by duty on regular basis in coordination with the Airbus Customer Care Center (CCC).
  • Capitalize on technical concerns in order to identify any reliability drops
  • Act as the voice of Airbus towards all our customers around the world
  • Act as the voice of the customer within Airbus and also among our Suppliers to demonstrate that a solution must be provided to customers
  • Handling customers communications reflecting fleet issues resolution progress
  • Represent Airbus in face-to-face customers meetings to address and manage in-service issues.

Your boarding pass:

  • Aeronautic and/or Electrical engineering degree 
  • Experience and/or knowledge on aircraft electrical systems (5 years minimum on the mentioned ATA chapters)
  • Customer Support Engineer experience would be a plus
  • Experience and knowledge on aircraft systems would be a plus
  • Negotiation level in English (both oral and written)
  • Good presentation skills (both oral and written)
  • Good relationship with her/his team and all of its stakeholders
  • Knowledge about airlines operations to better understand our customer’s needs.
  • Availability working on staggered hours around 5-6 weeks a year and for business trips (1 to 4 a year)
