OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Mobile Lead Engineer to drive the development of modern, scalable, and user-centric cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

This role combines strong hands-on development expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding mobile engineers and ensuring high-quality, performant, and secure applications from a single shared codebase. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, design systems, and delivering seamless mobile experiences in complex, data-driven environments.

YOU WILL

» Lead the design, development, and delivery of cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

» Define and enforce mobile architecture, state management patterns, coding standards, and best practices.

» Mentor, coach, and manage mobile engineers, supporting their growth and performance.

» Collaborate closely with UX/UI, Product, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

» Drive the adoption and evolution of a shared component library and consistent design language across both platforms.

» Own runtime theming and configuration, so branding and enabled features can be configured rather than forked per build.

» Ensure applications meet accessibility standards on both platforms.

» Own mobile security posture — secure storage, certificate pinning, biometric authentication, root/jailbreak detection, and safe token handling.

» Integrate mobile applications with backend REST APIs and OAuth2 / OpenID Connect authentication flows.

» Optimize application performance, startup time, rendering, battery and network efficiency.

» Own the release process end to end: build pipelines, code signing, App Store and Google Play submission, phased rollout and crash monitoring.

» Oversee code reviews, technical decisions, and quality assurance processes.

» Stay up to date with the latest mobile technologies, framework releases, and industry trends.

Requirements

» TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

» Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

» 7–10 years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2–3 years in a lead role.

» Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, or in React Native and TypeScript, with a willingness to work in either.

» Proven experience shipping and maintaining production cross-platform applications on both the App Store and Google Play.

» Working knowledge of the underlying native platforms — enough to write platform channels or native modules, debug platform-specific issues, and manage Xcode and Gradle build configuration.

» Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state management (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, or equivalents) in a modular app structure.

» Solid grasp of mobile security best practices and secure handling of sensitive data on device.

» Experience with RESTful API integration, offline handling, and background synchronization.

» Experience with mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, GitLab CI, or similar) and automated build and signing.

» Familiarity with mobile testing (widget/component tests, integration tests, and device-farm or emulator-based E2E).

» Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile/Scrum environments.

» Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
