Amazon Advertising Sales Data Infrastructure and Generative Intelligence team (DIGI) is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team based in our Bangalore office. Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and eCommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and DSP solutions.
Key job responsibilities The BI Engineer will support our EU Ads Sales Finance team, based out of London. The role is integral in delivering reporting and insight to support the delivery of the Sales teams’ KPIs and strategic goals. The candidate will be a highly motivated individual, comfortable collaborating with Data Engineers, business partners and BI/finance partners across regions. The the role requires an individual who is eager to learn and possess a strong technical skill-set. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared) - Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree - Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design - Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
